Creating a workspace that fuels productivity
The difference between the top 1% successful individuals and the 10% is their ability to focus.
If their focus level is rated out of 10, the top 1% performing individuals have an average focus level of 8. When the top 1% are in their peak state, they might even reach a focus level of 10.
For the remaining majority, individuals have an average focus level of 6 out of 10. During their peak times, their focus level can be at a 7 or 8, but it is often not sustainable and quickly recline back to their average level.

There are a lot to say about the correlation of how your workspace looks like and your ability to focus. Creating a workspace that fuels your productivity and focus is essential.
How does my workspace look like?

As I have a small desk, it looks like that my desk is full of gadgets. But I try to keep it minimalistic and remove any unnecessary items when possible.
I find that my chair and monitor contribute the most to my productivity because my energy levels are higher when my posture is better.
Also, a great tip for relieving neck strain is stacking books below your monitor so that it is at eye level.
On my desk, I have a daily checklist that I go through every morning. It guides me every morning and I do not have to consciously think about what I have to do because it’s all written down.

The best place to work is not my bedroom because I am always tempted to lie down and procrastinate. In the future, I hope to find a small office that enables me to have a bigger desk and space to walk around.
Research has found that when one room is dedicated to one activity (ie: the bedroom is for sleeping, and the office is for working), individuals tend to perform at a higher focus level.
For those who love gadgets and technology devices, here is a breakdown of the technology I use on a daily basis.
